Glastonbury is the biggest UK festival that happens every other year or so. This years line up recently got announced so i thought i'd give you a bit of a guide of who you shouldn't miss at Glastonbury if your going or if your going to be like me and spend the weekend watching it in the comfort of your home on the sofa like i do every year. I love Glastonbury due to its variety in line up as they have such a vast variety of acts suited to everyone and anyone. They really have something for everyone as people such as Jeremy Corbin are doing talks onsite over the weekend which i find rather interesting. Anyway here is who you should check out if you're going over the weekend to Glastonbury.
Bring Me The Horizon - The Other Stage - Friday
There is no doubt about it that they are going to absolutely destroy worthy farm. After the success of their album 'Thats The Spirit' , Bring Me The Horizon are finally playing Glastonbury after saying in 2013 that it would never happen. Heres to all the possible mosh pits , circle pits and stressed out security! Glastonbury are not prepared for the craziness that is BMTH at all. Song to listen to - Happy Song
Adele - Pyramid Stage - Saturday
If you think she's going to be boring you can think again. Even if you don't like her she's not one to miss out on at all. She's funny , talented and has the best hair and make up team ever. No joke her eyeliner is on fleek as they would say these days. I still don't know what on fleek means ... There are over 100 stages so if she's not for you then there's definitely something out there for you. I'd do anything to see Adele so if you're going to Glastonbury you're incredibly lucky and I'm super jealous of you ! Song to listen to - Cold Shoulder (from 19 but honestly i love that song so much).
Foals - Pyramid Stage - Friday
We all probably know by now that i absolutely love Foals ! They are one of my favourite bands and i've never gotten round to seeing them live. I have watched a lot of their live performances on the tv and stuff and wow if you're going to Glastonbury then your in for a treat ! The band are also headlining this years Reading and Leeds festival too so theres no excuse to not see them this summer . Foals really put on a great live show if i say so myself and after releasing there album 'What Went Down' last year it suddenly saw the band shoot up to being bigger than they were before. Song to listen to - Birch Tree.
Raleigh Ritchie - Sonic - Sunday
You can go and see Grey Worm from Game of Thrones at Glastonbury. Jacob Anderson otherwise know as his stage name Raleigh Ritchie is going to be at Glastonbury this year ! He's going to be playing one of the stages in Sliver Hayes. His debut album dropped a few months ago and its amazing and definitely one of my favourites thats been released this year already. Jacob is also playing other festivals this summer too so if you can catch Jacob at any of the other festivals he's playing this year i'd go and see him if you can. Song to listen to - Stronger Than Ever.
Wolf Alice - Pyramid Stage - Saturday
They've played Glastonbury a few times now and are pretty much becoming residents to the festival the amount of times they have played it. I have seen Wolf Alice live and they are pretty amazing live. Also do not miss them play giant peach purely for Theo and Ellie's dance at the beginning of giant peach because its great. Do not underestimate the power of Wolf Alice live thats all i will say. Go and see them if your going to Glastonbury if you can ! Song to listen to - Bros
CHVRCHES - Other Stage - Saturday
I like to think i look like Lauren Mayberry but i really don't look anything like her. The Scottish trio are playing a lot of festivals this year and they happen to be at Glastonbury. ! Im not entirely sure which stage they'll be playing but they're bound to draw a humongous crowd because they are an incredible band and i've heard a lot of good things about their live sets ! Song you should listen to - Bury It.
Tame Impala - Pyramid Stage - Saturday
Probably one of the most psychedelic sounding bands around at the moment who I'm ridiculously obsessed with. They've hit success with their recent album 'Currents' which has become one of my favourite albums of all time. Reason why you should go and check out Tame Impala is because their live sets are supposed to be insanely good even if they're not you're thing i'd consider going to see them if you feel like checking out a really good live band from Australia. Song to listen to - The Moment
Blossoms - Other Stage - Friday
I recently got to see these at Isle of Wight Festival and i can't recommend you enough to go and see them if you're attending Glastonbury this year. The band from Stockport are slowly becoming one of my favourite bands and i can't wait to hear their debut album which is out in August ! Their live set is so incredible and even if you're not attending Glastonbury they're bound to be playing another festival this summer that you might be attending ! Song to listen to - Getaway
Alessia Cara - John Peel Stage - Saturday
She's currently on tour supporting Coldplay which is just crazy but the 19 year old Canadian is going to be playing this years Glastonbury after making a massive breakthrough with her hit single 'Here'. You should see Alessia just because she sounds flawless and effortlessly incredible live. I've watched her set at Radio 1's Big Weekend and honestly it was so good. I hope to see her live one day as she's one of my current favourite artists to listen to and her debut album 'Know It All' is one of my favourite albums at the moment ! Song to listen to - Wild Things
Mark Ronson and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker - Hell Stage - Friday
Ok this is something you do not want to even miss at all in the slightest. I won't go into a lot of depth about this but as far as I'm aware its going to be incredible ! Also they are playing on the stage with coolest name so i don't think you're going to want to miss this.Song to listen to - Daffodils
Annie Mac
Do not miss seeing Annie Mac if your going to Glastonbury. She's one of my favourite DJ's who I've not yet seen her do a live set. I listen to her a lot when she's on the radio and she's really one of those people that has one of the most incredible music tastes around . Definitely go and see Annie if you can if your going to Glastonbury but i think she is playing other festivals too so if your going to a festival she's playing at you need to go and see her.
Adele - Pyramid Stage - Saturday
