It's not long till Isle of Wight Festival and i'm ridiculously excited ! I love festival season so much it means that bands and artists i like go and perform at loads of festivals around the world and I'm lucky that i pretty much live around the corner from Isle of Wight Festival. This year will be my 3rd year of going as i have been in 2012 and 2014 where i have seen bands that i have loved listening to for a while and i finally get to see them where i live.

This years line up is insane. I can remember when they announced the Sunday night headliner i nearly cried because its Fleetwood Mac which i'm very very happy with. Besides Fleetwood Mac there is a wide variety of bands and artists that i definitely recommend seeing . Here are 5 bands that i think you should see if you are going this year !

1. You Me At Six , Main Stage Friday - Just see them. I saw them when they played the O2 on their co-headline tour with All Time Low back in February and they were incredible , loud but incredible. I can't wait to see You Me At Six again. A reason why you should see them is because they know how to get a crowd going and know how to start scary crowd surfing and scary mosh pits. watch Lived A Lie from Reading Festival last year it got crazy.

2. Young Kato , Jack Rocks - I absolutely love Young Kato their songs make me feel summery and happy so there is no doubt about it that these guys know how to get a festival crowd going. Even though they are playing a small stage they are definitely worth going to see over the weekend if your able to. Sunshine is one that instantly makes you think of the summer and festival season.

3. Coasts , Big Top Sunday - I have been listening to these guys for a while and i am so happy that they are playing the big top i had a feeling that the would be there this year for some reason but these guys are probably going to get huge within a few years or maybe months ! Go and see them before they do.

4. James Bay , Main Stage Saturday - I first started listening to James when i saw people on twitter hyping him up to be amazing in which he is. He soon became a rather large success after winning The Brits Critics Choice award which the likes of Sam Smith and Adele have both won in recent years. Why should you see James Bay ? You should see him because why not he's rather talented and even if you don't like him its something your not going to want to miss !

5. Nothing But Thieves - MAIN STAGE , SATURDAY !!!! I couldn't believe this to be honest as i absolutely love these. I saw them support Twin Atlantic on their tour last year and wow I couldn't believe how amazing they are live like just wow. Heres some advice , get down early on the Saturday as these are definitely not ones to miss at all !

My top songs of some of bands and artists -

You Me At Six - Underdog , Cold Night , Always Attract ( its an old one from their 1st album and its rarely played live but i still like it), Forgive And Forget , Bite My Tongue and Fresh Start Fever.

Young Kato - Ultraviolet , Stephanie , Sunshine ( aka the ultimate summer song) , Runaway and Drink Dance Play.

Coasts - Oceans , Rush Of Blood , Modern Love , Wallow , Let Go , Stay and Wash Away.

James Bay - Best Fake Smile , Let It Go , When We Were On Fire , Need The Sun To Break , Scars and Craving.

Nothing But Thieves - Ban All The Music, Wake Up Call , Graveyard Whistling and Itch.

If your going I hope this helps or makes you think about going to see the band or artist i have talked about if you are going as I know i shall definitely be seeing You Me At Six again !!

More posts going up soon !
