Bestivals Summer of Love

Bestival is next month ! Bestival is another local around the corner festival for me which sees the Isle of Wight invaded with campers coming from literally everywhere ! I think one of the main reasons is that the line ups always seem to have so much variety thrown in and theres more than just music ! This year sees some new areas that have been added to the festival. One of my favourites that has been added this year is called Slow Motion. It seems like the most chilled area of the festival as there is yoga and meditation , Llama Karma and theres even a craft area if your into that sort of thing !
There is also the Kaleidoscope Stage which features Port Isla and Fickle Friends who are a must see !
This years theme is the Summer of Love. Originally in the 60's this years theme is going to see lots of flared trousers , hippie floral prints and lots of glitter. If your going and can't find anything to wear then look no further ! Here are some outfits that would look great to wear to Bestival !
Outfit 1
This is the sort of thing you would wear on the first day as its still got a 60s/70s vintage look to it. Make up wise i would put a little bit of glitter on my face to add a little bit of sparkle. The flower crown is always optional but i love wearing flower crowns to festivals it always puts me in the festival mood. Once again you could re wear some of this as you could use the bag as an everyday hand bag. The boots could easily be replaced with sandals but you never know what the english weather is like !
Outfit 2
This is the sort of outfit you could wear on the Saturday or the Sunday but i would probably wear this on the Saturday with glitter on my face and a bright pink lipstick as the theme is the 'summer of love' so pink lipstick is suitable for the occasion. I have added a pair of wellie boots as they are a essential just incase the weather decides to become rubbish but if you don't want to wear wellies because the ground is dry either sandals or desert boots will suit this look. The jacket is a medium but i have an oversized vintage jacket and i think oversized looks better personally you can roll the sleeves up and make it look more fashionable. The bumbag has glitter on it ! It fits this years theme rather well as when i think of this years theme i instantly think of glitter. Bumbags come in handy and have become really on trend recently.

Outfit 3
This outfit i have put together could be worn on either the saturday or the Sunday as it suits both days .Playsuits are so comfortable and allow you to move around easily. With the boots you can add a pair of lace or frilly socks to add to the outfit. I think backpacks are so easy to carry around at festivals and they can fit all of your essential festival things in them ! The necklace from Bloody Mary Metal adds to the playsuit just to give it a finishing touch.

Hopefully this has given some inspiration as to what you could wear to this years Bestival. This years Bestival looks fab as always so does this years line up ! Some of my favourites on the line up include : Rae Morris , Gabrielle Aplin , Drenge , Ella Eyre , Soak , Seafret, Tame Impala , Kimberley Anne and Lion Babe ! If you are going to Bestival make sure you go to the slow motion area as you don't want to miss out on the Llamas !
